When it was first announced that a Joker origin movie was in the works, many comic book geeks, like myself, became ecstatic. Joker is, without a doubt, one of the greatest villains ever created. Naturally, the hype was high. And due to the films content revolving mass shootings, it’s also caused controversy. Rather than go into a plot summary, I’m just going to cut right to the chase. Also: I am going into spoiler territory.
Superman to be joined by another in “Man of Steel” sequel
Although the film has received mixed reviews, to say the least, Man of Steel has earned over $600 million worldwide. So, a sequel was inevitable, not to mention that Warner Bros announced to make one before the film was released. Now, there’s been some interesting additions being made to it.
Warners to release Ultimate Edition for Dark Knight Trilogy
You read the correctly! Warner Bros has decided to come out with a brand new, exclusive ultimate collector’s edition to The Dark Knight Trilogy. The set will contain six discs, with all new added bonus material, a Hot Wheels versions of the Batmobile, Batpod and Tumbler by Mattel, Newly commissioned collectible art cards by Mondo featuring the Scarecrow, Joker, Bane, Harvey Dent, and Ra’s al Ghul characters, and A 48-page hardcover book featuring production stills and behind the scenes images from all three movies.
Warner’s notions new Batman
With a Justice League movie bound to happen, Warner’s has been trying to decide who should play Batman, if Christian Bale doesn’t return. And Warner’s has contemplated the choice should be…. BEN AFFLECK. Not only does Warner’s want him to play the Caped Crusader, but to also direct the film. Affleck’s proven Warner’s to be golden and to be very talented filmmaker. What’s your opinion?

The tragedy that befell the group of fans at the Colorado premiere is saddening and our prayers and sympathies go out for you. With that being said, there is still buzz and hype going around the most anticipated film of the year, The Dark Knight Rises. So, does the film live up to its hype? Is it better then The Dark Knight? Hell, is this the best Batman film made? The Dark Knight Rises is a beautiful, tragic, epic, brilliant and astonishing powerhouse of plot, character and action.
