New star for “Fast and Furious 7”
We all know that The Fast and The Furious franchise is probably getting close to be beating a dead horse, and will soon wear out its welcome when people finally go, “Wow. They’re really making too many of these movies.” Until that day, however, Universal will continue to produce sequels, and hopefully, the stories will continue to develop and become better with each installment. With that being said, there’s a new addition joining Fast and Furious 7, that isn’t actually new. Yet, a character from one of the previous installments. Can you guess who?
Well in case you couldn’t, or cheated by clicking more right after reading the previous paragraph, its LUCAS BLACK.
You might remember him from The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift. The spin-off sequel that featured Black as Sean Boswell and get this, will be in the next two sequels, if each respective sequel is a hit. Black will join the main cast, as well as Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou and Dwayne Johnson. According to the timeline, Fast 4 – 6 will take place before the events in Tokyo Drift. So, it will be a somewhat logical move for him to be recruited into the crew, or at least they’re just saying that so it will make sense. So, now, it won’t be a spin-off entry, but an actual sequel with 4-6 serving as prequels.
The film is scheduled to be released on July 11th 2014. What do you think of the news?
